Filter + Valve Integrated Technology, Enhancing the Stable Operation of Pipeline Systems
In industrial pipelines, many valve failures have their root causes not in the quality of the valves themselves, but in impurities in the medium, welding slag, rust, particles, scale, etc., which cause scratches on the sealing surfaces, valve core jams, throttling holes blockages, spring stalling, and thereby leading to internal leakage, malfunction in operation, pressure regulation failure, abnormal drainage from steam traps, etc. The filter, as a pre-protective component, when properly matched with the valves, can significantly reduce the failure rate of the valves, extend the equipment lifespan, and reduce unplanned shutdowns. This article discusses the selection, installation location, matching solutions, and common misunderstandings of filters, combining mon valve components such as ball valves, gate valves, pressure reducing valves, steam traps, and safety valves.
